The challenge
An archive warehouse stores records that cannot be replaced. Water getting in through a failing roof is not just a maintenance issue, it threatens the entire purpose of the building. The refurbishment had to make the roof reliably weathertight while the facility continued to operate and the stored archive stayed protected throughout.
What we did
We refurbished the warehouse roof to restore its weather performance and stop water ingress, working over the occupied building and protecting the contents below at every stage.
The result
The refurbished roof restored a reliable, weathertight envelope, protecting the archive and giving the facility years of added roof life without the disruption of a full replacement.
