Emergency & Reactive Roof Repairs
When a roof fails, fast. Leak tracing, storm-damage repairs and temporary protection to stop the damage and keep your building working.
When a roof starts leaking over racking, machinery or production, every hour matters. We carry out reactive and emergency repairs on industrial and commercial roofs, stopping the water first, then putting a proper, lasting repair in place.
Leak detection
Water rarely enters where it appears inside. Finding the real source is the difference between a fix that holds and one that fails again next week. We trace leaks back to their actual origin (a failed lap, a split gutter, corroded fixings or damaged detailing) rather than guessing and patching.
Storm damage
High winds and heavy rain lift sheets, strip flashings and overwhelm gutters. We make storm-damaged roofs safe and weathertight, deal with displaced or damaged sheets, and can document the damage if you need evidence for an insurance claim.
Temporary protection
Where a permanent repair can’t happen immediately (because of weather, access or the scale of the damage), we can install temporary protection to keep the building dry and limit further loss while the full repair is planned.
Structural and follow-on repairs
Sometimes a leak has been running long enough to affect more than the covering. We assess the surrounding structure, purlins and fixings, and carry out the follow-on repairs needed to put things right properly.
A permanent fix, not just a patch
An emergency call-out gets you watertight fast, but our aim is always a durable repair. Where a roof is near the end of its life, we’ll tell you honestly and set out the options: from targeted repair to re-sheeting, overcladding or full refurbishment.
What you can do before we arrive
If it is safe to do so, move or cover stock and equipment away from where the water is coming in, and place containers to catch drips. Do not go onto the roof yourself, especially in wet or windy conditions, or where the covering may be fragile or contain asbestos. Note where the water is appearing inside and take a few photographs; it helps us trace the source faster and supports any insurance claim later.
